What does this make possible?

February 7, 2021 by Eric Friedman

I have been a fan of Rob Wilk since we first worked together years ago. I even wrote an incredible idea he shared with me back then called the “no update update” which I use all the time. Today Rob is building something very special inside Microsoft and Bing.

I recently caught up with Rob, and he showed me the following banner sitting in his home office. It says “What does this make possible?” and I love it.

It’s a constant reminder to his team, or anyone else that is lucky enough to be on video with Rob. When faced with a tough situation it is a great question to ask and figure out the bright side. I love questions like this as a coach, but also as a frame of mind.

Sometimes you come across something so great, you just have to make a banner for it as an epic reminder. That is what Rob did here and I love it.
