Vonage Talk

I have begun using Vonage Talk at home after reading about it in detail.

I have always found it necessary to have a “home phone” and this represents one more reason to keep my Vonage line active. Vonage Talk gives you software to run on your computer that connects to your Vonage line. It also acts as an Instant Messaging client in case you wanted to run everything through the software. It rings when your phone rings and allows you the ability to make and receive calls via the software. This is definitely the bridge that has been missing for many VOIP phone companies – although some have hardware adapters that do this task. The missing link has been combining your home phone number with a software option so that you have seamless connectivity with people without them knowing the jump from landline phone to bluetooth laptop usage.

This is definitely a cool feature that I hope Vonage rolls out to everyone soon.
