AdAge is often a good barometer when gauging how seriously agencies and marketers consider new phenomena. For example, in the last year, AdAge has significantly improved its coverage of digital media and developments in the interactive arena. As trade publications go, I think AdAge is one of the best and I try to read as much as posisble each week.
It always surprised me how many agency VP’s, B & C-level managers discarded their weekly copy of AdAge (perhaps to their detriment) but then again, maybe that’s an indication of how and why agencies are having a difficult time adapting to innovation.
