Mobile Web Browsing via .mobi or .com ? Perhaps Skweezer.net

There has been a lot of attention recently surrounding the usefulness of mobile-specific websites ending with “.mobi.” While mobile web browsing may still be in the early stages, it is unlikely that pda’s, blackberries and cellular phones will need condensed mobile websites for long. For example, Blackberries that run the v. 4.0 software can view most the majority websites with ease. It’s only a matter of time before java, video, flash, etc. are readily available for the mini-mobile browser via the regular .com version of any site.

Already, one can automatically condense any site via www.skweezer.net. I regularly use Skweezer on my blackberry browser and I highly recommend it. Hat tip to Kevin Perkins for putting me on to the site.
