Ask.com has started running new TV ads featured their eccentric enginneer Apostolos Gerasoulis. They are running 4 different spots each featuring its own blend of comedy with the overall message “try ask.com”

Each of the 4 videos can be found hosted on Ask here.

This is a clear step away from the “monkeys” campaign, and trys to bring home a bit more of the humanity to the search engine.

An interesting note; the commercials go so far as to name the competition (in this case Google) 2 times during the 30 second spot.
