I am excited to announce I am transitioning from Union Square Ventures and joining the team at Foursquare.

It is hard to believe that just two years ago I first wrote on this website about joining USV.
It has been a thrilling and educational experience working at Union Square Ventures. I will forever be indebted to Brad Burnham, Fred Wilson, and Albert Wenger, who provided me with a remarkable opportunity and solid framework for my position, and who involved me in all aspects of the firm. My thanks to Dorsey and Kerri too for helping to keep things running smoothly in the office. My departure is bittersweet as I had a front row seat to 25+ portfolio companies and have gotten to know some of the teams quite well. The past two years have been about real life case studies, problem solving, lots of excel modeling, and VC nuance that can only be experienced to be understood.
I owe an enormous debt of gratitude to Andrew Parker. My first few months at USV were something of a trial by fire as I learned the flow of the firm. Andrew had the patience to work with me through some of the more complicated aspects of the job, and for that I am very grateful.
Through USV’s investment in Foursquare I was lucky enough to work with co-founders Dennis Crowley and Naveen Selvadurai and saw a dynamic start-up with vast potential. I am looking forward to this new and exciting opportunity.
