Thinkbait

I am really not a fan of writing LinkBait and truly try not to participate in writing things for the sole purpose of getting links even though it has been blessed by folks like Matt Cutts. I sometimes write things that I hope get spread and passed around, but certainly do not think of them as LinkBait.

hook

I try to write things as ThinkBait; posts that are thought provoking and generate dialogue.

This is my way of flushing out my own thoughts on a subject, asking folks their opinions, and of course use this platform as a way to learn more.

I think if a post generates a sizable discussion and even rebuttal posts you have ThinkBait – anything else is just LinkBait.

I'll freely admit that I occasionally write Linkbait. Then again, I enjoy writing the informative articles far more then the latter.

Its got to be a mix I think in the end.

i hear tumblaritybait is all the rage with kids these days :)

I think there is an inverse relationship between your Tumbularity and how much you hate your job

not sure i follow plz elaborate when you get a chance

I am half joking, and this is certainly my own cognitive dissonance at work
to compensate for my OWN low score, but I feel that a low tumbularity
somehow correlates to a highly fulfilling job. Meaning, if you have a high
tumbularity you are more likely to dislike your job. Somehow all written
out it doesn't have the same flare when I first said it…

it has nothing to do with dissonance it has to do with productivity at your
    job
but i understand why you were trying to overcompensate for a low tumblarity.
wont hold it against u :)
