I am not sure there is such thing as “the Google’s of the world”.

There is Google, then there are other search engines and companies.

You cannot group a bunch of companies together by claiming “they” are the “Googles of the world”.

This is not in support of or against Google, but rather acknowledging there is currently no way to generalize them. I hear quite often when people jumble together a group of companies – for example; “we will run search in all the Google’s of the world” which just doesn’t seem right to me.

I think this holds true in many companies and many cases.
